
There are so many great ACT tools for kids! Learning the willingness to sit in our emotions and feel them rather than ignore them can greatly impact their ability to try new and scary things.
Once kids are able to understand the difference between good and bad nerves, you can teach them coping skills to help them with both. Whether its leave a bad situation, or take deep breaths before a play, they will be able to know the difference.
Kids often dont understand the things that trigger them. But, they can understand that things BUG them. Talk about these things to bring awareness to those feelings! Then you can learn coping skills for what those bug like things bring up!
